The Tutorial
When you start Just German for the first time, you will be guided through the tutorial.
The tutorial has two purposes:
- It makes you familiar with the basic learning process and the most important aspects of the app.
- We use it to estimate your current language level.
If you are new to Just German, we really recommend you to do the tutorial. It should take at most 3-5 minutes.

After the tutorial, we recommend you create an account.
Why is the tutorial so restricted? Why can't I do [...] in the tutorial?
The tutorial limits the functionality of the learning screen in several ways (no swiping, just one translation per word/phrase, etc). This is done to increase simplicity and clarity, to avoid confusing new users.
As soon as you have completed the tutorial, all functionality is either directly available, or can be enabled in the settings.
